Kurt MuellerBorn and raised in Minnesota, Kurt Mueller reported for active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps two days out of high school. With the completion of his tour of duty with the Marines, he attended St. Cloud State University on the G.I. Bill. Upon graduaion from St. Cloud, Mueller received an officer's commission in the U.S. Army, where he served on active duty both in the United States and abroad. After Kurt retired from the Army, he became a public school teacher and later an administrator with the Anchorage School District. Now retired, Mueller continues living in Alaska with excellent outdoor recreational opportunities.
