Kristy HighKristy is the co-author of two children's books about asthma and sickle cell disease. Her goal is to educate all children (and parents) regarding their asthma, and the management of their asthma as well as sickle cell disease and the mental and socia issues that often arise when living with this disease. The books have been highlighted throughout the Cincinnati area via our local news stations. The asthma book was named the book of the year by the Allergy & Asthma Network. Kristy is passionate about Reading and Literacy, and enhancing the knowledge of patients and families, while "meeting them where they are" to assist in improving their quality of life.
