Kristen SheppardKristen Sheppard was born and raised in the beautiful city of Portland, OR. Around the age of five, her talents began to appear in music, textile arts, and writing. After high school, she attended the School of Music at the University of Oregon in Euene. She plays several woodwind instruments and has performed mainly in classical, jazz, and folk music. In her mid 20's she moved to Houston, TX. Kristen has a diverse work history, which includes the airlines and the needlework industry. Throughout her life's journey of creativity, she has gained many skills; from custom picture framer to professional needlework finisher. She has fashioned many an item, such as hand-knit socks and customized clothing, to furniture design and assembly. The creative process is pure joy for her!
