McCabe has been an expert witness in law enforcement policies and procedures, child abuse school violence, human trafficking and equity/parity/discrimination of employment in criminal justice and public safety agencies. She has also acted as a consultant to state and local agencies in the United States and the United Kingdom on design, implementation, and evaluation of criminal justice and public safety programs.
