Ken Ellis Ken Ellis is a survivor of diabetes for almost sixty years, being diagnosed when he was in the first grade during the fall of 1960. For more than twenty-five years he has facilitated hospital and community diabetes support groups, helping hundreds ofpeople to manage their diabetes in several states. Ken has participated in the 50-year medalist research study and has been awarded the 50-Year Medal from the world-renowned Joslin Diabetes Center, which is affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston.
