Kemal BirdirKemal Birdir , earned his bachelor's degree in Tourism Management at Cukurova University in 1984. He started to work at the School of Tourism and Hotel Management as a research assistant in 1989 and was awarded a scholarship to pursue my masters and hD in the USA. He earned his masters at Hawaii Pacific University in Travel Industry Management in 1994 and had his PhD at Purdue University in 1998. He is currently a full-time professor at Mersin University Faculty of Tourism, teaching courses such as strategic management in the hospitality Industry, Introduction to tourism and Human Resources Management.
