After art school, she worked as an advertising art director, then went back to her first love, illustration. She has illustrated many books for children, as well as book coers and pieces for magazines. Kelley lives with her three sons, Sam, Noah, and Nathaniel, and their cat, Ivan, in Pennsylvania.
