She found great success in corporate America with positions of managerial responsibility and charge at various financial institutions developing and directing marketing program, always maintaining a consistent focus on writing and scripting.  Diversely, Kathy Johnson founded and developed several business-to-business magazines, including the deep-rooted regional magazine, BusinessWise, in Indiana, serving as owner and editor. Kathy Johnson earned her Core Competency certification and became a Dale Carnegie instructor in its leadership management, relationship strengthening, and sales training courses.  After completion of her academic novella, Seasons to Remember, Kathy earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of Evansville, Evansville, Indiana, and her master’s degree in organizational management from Oakland City University in Oakland City, Indiana.  Leaving corporate America, Kathy Johnson pursued her long-time passion for drama, suspense, and romance in her historical novel, Destination Alcatraz.
