Kathleen PhillipsDr. Kathleen Phillips, professor and Intern Coordinator in the Department of Health Studies at Eastern Illinois University, has been teaching health education professional preparation courses since 1978. During her career, Kathy has authored articles and made numerous presentations on professional program assessment and internship practices. She successfully completed the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) requirements in 1989 and the Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) requirements in 2011.
