Katharine Grant
Katharine Grant, author of Sedition, and as K. M. Grant author of nine YA historical novels including the de Granville Trilogy, was born into a family described by Lord Burghley, chief minister to Elizabeth 1, as of ‘morethan usual perversity’. Katharine grew up on the edge of the Lancashire moors with six sisters and a brother. She has been a journalist, is currently a Royal Literary Fund Consultant Fellow and chairs the panel of judges for the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction.
