Karol is also an actor and storyteller. Karol started portraying Harriet in 1999. She has shared Harriet Tubman's stories as a jovial endearing elderly Aunt Harriet. Karol wrote the screenplay and performed in the movie, Harriet Tubman, Love In Action, released in 2022.
