Kaoutar Aboudi
Dr. Kaoutar Aboudi is a substitute lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Food Technology at the University of Cádiz (Spain), where she is a senior researcher in the Applied Bioprocess Engineering research group. Her central researh areas include biomass to bioenergy and value-added product recovery through anaerobic digestion and fermentation processes. She has been working on technologies related to biohythane production for 15 years. Dr. Aboudi has co-edited 2 full books and has co-authored 12 book chapters and 20 peer-reviewed papers published in recognized journals. She has participated in over 19 international conferences worldwide and has been a member of several research projects related to biomass valorization. She previously completed postdoctoral research at the IMDEA-Energy Institute in Madrid (Spain) and international internships at Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands) and the New University of Lisbon (Portugal). She has successfully supervised BSc degree students in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.
