K M HalpernKen was born in New York and, after spending far too much time there, finally returned to the Cambridge, MA he knew and loved from graduate school. Unfortunately, all that remained was a large Starbucks, several thousand bank branches, and two small niversities whose names he forgets. He is the author four novels and three other books of pretentious flash fiction. His current literary projects include the second book in a fantasy trilogy centered around a seemingly indestructible woman and a book of short fiction tentatively titled "You May Feel a Small Prick." Ken holds a PhD in theoretical physics from a cluster of concrete buildings somewhere on the Charles River.
