K B Agrawal
Professor K.B. Agrawal is the Director of the Indian Institute of Comparative Law, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He has been the Dean of the Faculty of Law University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He has had experience of teaching LLB and LLM classes for the ast thirty-eight years and has conducted research on important projects on various topics and areas in the field of law, legal philosophy, and social problems. Prof. Agrawal is the Editor-in-Chief of the renowned Indian Social-Legal Journal for the last forty-one years. He has written more than 150 research papers published in various law journals of the world. He is an author of many books, the most important of them are: Some Thoughts on Modern Jurisprudence (1976), Random Thoughts on Family Law (1981), Writings on Legal Education (1982), Comparative Constitutionalism (1992), etc. He has also written monographs on International Encyclopaedia of Laws-Civil Procedure, India, and Internal and Inter Country Adoptions and has also prepared the Indian section of monographs on Private International Law, Law of Insurance, Commercial and Economic Laws, Corporations and Partnerships, and on Family and Succession Law. Professor Agrawal has also been an advocate for several years. Professor Agrawal worked for some time with the Scandinavian Institute of African Studies, Uppasala, Sweden, in 1979 and was at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Private Law, Hamburg, Germany, in 1981. He also did research work at the Christian-Albrechts University, Kiel, Germany, under the German Academic Exchange Programme (DAAD) in 1995 and at the International Institute for Unification of Private Law (better known as UNIDROIT), Rome, Italy, in 2001.
