Jörg Rubbert

Jörg RubbertJörg Rubbert, born 1963 in Bad Segeburg (near Hamburg) is a Berlin-based photographer renowned for his humanist, analogue street photography. His work documents the lives of everyday city dwellers with empathy and authenticity, focusing on socal themes and urban narratives in cities such as Paris, New York, and Berlin. Rubbert exclusively uses analog cameras and available light to capture expressive, timeless images—often in atmospheric black and white—without digital manipulation. He was a gallery owner from 2009 to 2014 and is a member of AFF (Atelier Freier Fotografen); Rubbert continues to live and work in Berlin. Read More Read Less
