Juris Jurjevics Juris Jurjevics was born during the Second World War in Latvia. His family spent five years in different refugee camps in Germany, until they emigrated to the USA. Jurjevics grew up in New York, served in Vietnam, and in 1968 bean his career in the publishing industry.
