Junxin Kang
Prof. Junxinkang (1968-), a Chinese famous jurist, graduated from Wuhan University in 1996, Ph.D. Now, he is a professor of both Wuhan University and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He also served as the Vice President of China Society o Criminology, and the Chairman of Criminal Law Research Association of Hubei Province Law Society. He was a visiting scholar of Southern Illinois University Law school in the US in 2010.
Prof. Kang's teaching and research covers Criminal Law, Criminology, Sports Law and other fields, and has a fruitful research results. His research achievement mainly includes three individual monographs which consisted of "Principles of Criminal Law of Life" in 2009, "Ideal and the Reality--China's Death Penalty System Report" in 2005, and "Court Reform" in 2004. He is also the chief editor of fifteen books, and the co-author of twenty works. He also had published more than hundred academic papers in Chinese core journals.
Professor Kang is also devoted to the study of the sports law. He is the one of the first batch of China's Sports Law Ph.D. tutor, one of the Ten Young Jurists in Hubei Province, who has quite accomplished in the anti-doping and sports conflict research. In recent years, he has a very good research results, which mainly includes the Research of the Guilty Person in Competitive Sports (2009), The Outline of the Research of the Sports Crime (2009), Conviction of Doping Issues (2010), Summary of Sports Crimes in China (2010), Bribery in Professional Football League in China (2012), The Study of Injury Behavior in Competitive Sports (2012), Legal Analysis of Fair Charles in Sports (2013), Legal Regulation of Gender Discrimination in Sport (2013), Antitrust Examination of Marketing Rights in Sports Broadcasting (2014) and so on. He also received the subject of the focus of the research institute in Hubei of strategy of development of the rule of law in 2013: Proposed Draft of Experts Modification of "LAW OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA ON PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORT".
