June HarveyJune Harvey was born and raised in New York City. She is married to her husband, Jim. Together, they have two children and five grandchildren. Since Jim was an army officer, they lived both overseas and throughout the United States. Thus began June'slove of both history and travel. June currently resides in Chesapeake, Virginia.June worked in the field of education for twenty years and spent the majority of those years working with kindergarten students. Those were joyful years filled with lifelong memories.Approaching a career change, June began pursuing a degree in Travel and Tourism with a focus on Washington, D.C. Architecture and History. Upon graduation, she began working in the field of historic tourism.
