Julia Kowal has more than 15 years of experience in battery and supercap research, with a focus on siulation and modelling, especially impedance-based modelling. During her Ph.D. at the chair Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage Systems (Prof. Dirk Uwe Sauer) of RWTH Aachen University she investigated mainly lead-acid batteries and supercaps and developed impedance-based simulation models and tools for the analysis of impedance data.
