Joyce TurleyJoyce Mihran Turley, illustrator of award-winning books, specializes in images of Nature and the National Parks. While earning her B.S. in Mathematics at Case Western Reserve University, Joyce studied painting and life drawing at the Cleveland Institute of Art. She continued her art studies at Colorado State University, establishing her illustration and design studio in the 1980s. She has lived in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains - west of Fort Collins, Colorado - for over 30 years. Joyce's illustration studio permits convenient observation of deer, coyotes, lizards, eagles, rattlesnakes, and hawks - just outside the picture windows!
