Joy Pelzmann

Joy Pelzmann has enjoyed a long and varied series of careers. Trained as a researcher in college, she went on to receive a Ph.D. in counseling psychology. Her academic career involved research, teaching, and training. Art and its application to th home arts have been lifelong interests. Now, finally, she is able to devote herself to those on a full-time basis. Immersed in her work as a quilt artist, she returns to teaching and training as a way of sharing her playful approach to art with others. Mother of three and grandmother of four, she sees life as a series of wonderful moments to be enjoyed and sometimes captured, but always appreciated.
