Joseph Starkey was born in Northern Ontario and currently works as the Art Director and Cartoonist for Exclaim! Canada's premier music magazine. When he's not illustrating educational books or art directing he can be found life drwing or oil painting in the beautiful outdoors of the Bruce Peninsula.
