Joseph E BarreraJoseph E. Barrera was born in Fresno, California. He is a graduate of Fresno State University and attended Hastings and Lincoln colleges school of law. He married Donna Bramblett in 1967. She died in August, 2009 after a prolonged illness. The authorwas drafted into the Army in July, 1968 and honorably discharged in April, 1970. He is a retired probation officer and continues to reside in the Fresno area.
