John Winter
John Winter was a teenager on Merseyside in the nineteen sixties. He worked at The Cavern as a songwriter and got to know the musicians who were making Liverpool famous. He has sailed all the world’s major oceans with Cunard. And close relative was electrical engineer on the original Queen Mary. This has provided him with the background for his latest book, Cunard Yanks.
