John ValasekJohn Valasek is Director of the Center for Autonomous Vehicles and Sensor Systems, Professor of Aerospace Engineering, and a member of the Honors Faculty, at Texas A&M University. He has been conducting flight mechanics and control research of mannedand unmanned air vehicles in industry and academia for more than 25 years. The author of two recent books – Morphing Aerospace Vehicles and Structures (2012) and Advances in Intelligent and Autonomous Aerospace Systems (2012) – he is an Associate Fellow of the AIAA, a member of the AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Technical Committee, and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics.
