John Thomas RileyJohn Thomas Riley is the chief designer for The Big Moon Dig. From 1989-2014, he worked at NASA, Goddard Space Flight Center as Contamination Control Engineer on 1) Hubble Space Telescope Servicing Mission 4 (HST SM-4); 2) Mercury Laser Altimeter (ML). From 1979-1981, he worked at Multiple Mirror Telescope Observatory as a System Engineer. The Multiple Mirror Telescope Observatory was at the time the third-largest ground based astronomical telescope on Earth.
