John PelhamJohn is a retired extension educator and administrator. He has a BS and MS degrees from Texas A&M and a Ph.D. in Rural Sociology from Mississippi State. He and his wife, Rita, are both "country kids" and live outside Granbury, Texas. As a university xtension educator, he spent his career working with and for Texas and Missouri farmers and ranchers and their families. He was reared on a small farm near a rural community in Central Texas. These themes run throughout his poems. John has published other books of cowboy poetry. Read More Read Less
