John LAfter nearly a decade of writing for top U.S. policymakers as a CIA intelligence officer, John decided to leave the government to be closer to family and pursue his other passions. As a father, John felt that there was a need for children's books tha could teach our children to be strong and brave and address current issues in a way children could understand. While no longer writing for policymakers, John believes he now writes for a more important audience, our future generation and leaders. John's passion is to write books that are relevant, current, and empowering. He tries to see the world through the eyes of a child and write from their perspective.
