John HughsonJOHN HUGHSON'S working life was as a Pharmacist. His formal art studies began at a mature age at the Geelong Fine Art School under Patricia Semmler and continued for about 7 years. Towards the end of this period, for an additional 4 years he studied atercolour technique with Peter Eggleton, who was a fine draughtsman and teacher. John enjoys the immediacy and challenge of watercolour painting en plein air.
