John E DillonRev. John Edward Dillon, Jr. is an educator, author, and pastor whose life's work is rooted in faith, service, and leadership. A graduate of Southern University at New Orleans, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, he also complted a postgraduate educational leadership program through LEAD Across Louisiana and received an Executive Leadership in Education Certificate from Loyola Marymount University. He serves in the Jefferson Parish Public School System as a Behavior Support Team Coordinator, where he supports students, families, and school communities through compassionate and effective leadership. In ministry, Pastor Dillon has devoted decades to preaching, teaching, and music ministry, serving in multiple leadership roles and as Minister of Music for more than 30 years. In 2012, he founded Body of Christ Fellowship Church and later established the Body of Christ Life Change Experience nonprofit to extend ministry and community outreach beyond the church walls. On July 7, 2023, he was installed as Pastor of Cypress Grove Baptist Church.
