John is a past president of the Greater Cincinnati Daylily-Hosta Society and a past president of the Greater Cincinnati Master Gardener Association, where he currently serves on the Boardof Directors. He has also written monthly garden tips for Backyard Living magazine and the local community newsletter. John is a Certified Master Composter and the founder of the American Compost Society.
