John Bart GeraldI started writing in the early 1960s. A number of my novels, stories, poems and were published through the years. Since 1978 much of my work appears with one form or another of Gerald and Maas, a small press and imprint, partnered with the artist Jule Maas (we're also married). Since about 2001 I've written the website nightslantern.ca, concerned with the prevention of genocide. I still write poems but the urgency of endangered peoples pushes me toward journalism in areas which the media aren't able or inclined to cover.
