John B FerrisOver the past 35 years, Dr. John B. Ferris has established a global reputation for his work on mobile road mapping systems, road surface modeling, and vehicle dynamics and reliability. He earned his PhD from the University of Michigan in 1996 while cnducting research in the automotive industry from 1990 to 2005. Dr. Ferris joined the Virginia Tech faculty as an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering in 2005 where he led dozens of sponsored research projects as Principal Investigator.
