John Armson

The Revd Canon John Armson (1939–2020) was a dedicated Anglican priest and educator whose ministry focused on the intersection of scripture and spiritual formation. He served as Precentor of Rochester Cathedral and later as Canon Residentiary and Warden of the Centre for Spirituality and Pastoral Care at Canterbury Cathedral. Throughout his career, Armson was a respected mentor and spiritual director, known for his ability to relate biblical narratives to contemporary pastoral challenges with deep theological sensitivity.
