Jody Conaway

My life wears many hats: I'm a mom to two grown children, a proud grandmother of three energetic boys, a nurse by profession, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a traveler, writer/blogger (and author - as of the publishing of this book), and watercolor painer by passion.

I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, but have lived many places as an adult. Yet, Savannah always calls me back, where I have been happily living again since 2020.

Through my stories, I hope to share my curiosity, creativity, lessons learned, and love for exploration in a way that sparks your own sense of adventure. My wanderlust has carried me across borders and cultures, each destination teaching me something new about the world-and about myself. I travel with an open heart and mind, always eager to experience the beauty, humor, and humanity that connect us all. Whether it's a bustling city street, a quiet coastal village, or a town whose medieval lanes still hum with history, I believe every journey has a story worth telling. I'm here to tell you mine-and to encourage you to live yours boldly, curiously, and with a suitcase always half-packed.
