Joanne Weber
Joanne Weber lives in Regina where she is employed with the School Board and teaches in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program at Thom Collegiate. She studied philosophy, theology, English literature and history to emerge with a B.A. Honours in Englsh literature with a minor in Philosophy. A Master's in Library Science soon followed as well as a Bachelor of Education and a year of graduate work in deaf education. Weber is fluent in American Sign Language and has been involved in the Deaf Community in leadership roles at the local, provincial and national levels. She lectures at SIAST, University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan in the area of deaf education. She has published poems in several journals across Canada.
