Joanne Burtch has been teaching children for over thirty years. She is currently running the French program at a local Montessori school. This is her first book, but she has always enjoyed writing and telling funny storis since her university days. Originally from Wales, United Kingdom, Joanne has spent most of her life in Ontario, Canada. Married to Kevin, they are parents to two plus one children. Will and Kaitlyn and soon to be daughter in law, Alexandra. In addition to parenting these three, she is also a loving aunt who has always encouraged individual feelings and a sense of humour in children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, volunteering and spending time with family and friends.

About the Artist:

A working artist and arts educator for almost forty years, Laurie Boese's work is shown regularly around the Niagara Region and the Greater Toronto area including the Powerhouse and the Sanctuary. Educated at Brock University and the University of Windsor, he served as a board member for Niagara Artists Centre for many years. He has always centred community arts development in his work and life. His media choices have always expressed the interconnectedness of art, human community and the earth. Read More Read Less
