Jethro Kloss (1863–1946) was an American herbalist, natural foods pioneer, and author best known for his classic book Back to Eden (1939). Raised in a Seventh-day Adventist family, he was deeply influenced by the health teachings of EllenG. White. Advocated for a lifestyle in harmony with nature, emphasizing vegetarianism, herbal remedies, and natural healing. Back to Eden became a bestseller in the 1960s and 70s, selling millions of copies and inspiring the natural foods movement.
