Jesse HillmanJesse Hillman, a former newspaper publisher, has been writing and editing for newspapers and magazines for over 40 years and is now writing books. Along the way, in another life journey, he worked for FedEx and the Marsh McLennan Companies as an applcations programmer, server administrator, senior network administrator and regional technology manager. He is a loving father and grandfather who takes great joy in hearing a child's laughter. He also believes reading is the greatest gift you can give to a child. That led him to write his first children's book, "Rusty, the Wonder Dog," about his blind retriever rescue dog named Rusty, who loved his humans and led a good life. "Rusty taught us how to live with courage," Jesse said. Although this is Jesse's first book, he doesn't believe it will be his last. "My mind is full of a library of children's books," he said. He and his wife, Jacque Hillman, live in Jackson, Tennessee, where they own HillHelen Group Publishers, known for award-winning books of regional and national interest. He is a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association and the Military Writers Society of America. Read More Read Less
