After graduating from Chillicothe High School in 1994, he pursued a BS (that's Bachelor of Science, not what YOU were thinking) Degree in Chemistry minor in Mathematics) at Missouri State University, and then completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2005 at University of Missouri (Mizzou-RAH!).
