Jeremy ThomasJeremy Thomas, one of Europe’s most accomplished butterfly experts, is an Emeritus Professor of Ecology at the University of Oxford, and a Fellow of New College. He previously worked as a research scientist at the Nature Conservancy’s Monks Wod laboratory, at the Institute of Terrestrial Ecology’s Furzebrook Research Station, and as director at CEH’s Dorset laboratory. He is also a former President of the Royal Entomological Society. Thomas is particularly known for his work in restoring the extinct Large Blue to Britain.
