Jens O AndersenJens O. Andersen received his PhD from the University of Oslo in 1997. After having held postdoctoral positions at The Ohio State University, Utrecht University, and Nordita, he became professor of physics at NTNU in 2005. He has taught a number of dfferent courses over the years ranging from introductory courses for first-year students to advanced courses on quantum field theory. The author has a solid background in theoretical physics including condensed matter theory and high-energy physics.
