He's widely regarded as one of the world’s foremost authorities on financial crime, money laundering, and organize crime. His 1995 investigative classic The Laundrymen is credited with bringing global attention to the scale and complexity of money laundering, establishing Robinson as “a recognized expert on organized crime, dirty money, fraud and money laundering,” with the British Bankers’ Association naming him “the world’s most important financial crime author.”
