Jeffrey M. LiptonJeffrey M. Lipton, MD, PhD is the Chief of Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York and Center Head, Patient Oriented Research, The Feinstein Institute for Medical Reseach. He is Professor, Elmezzi Graduate School of Molecular Medicine, The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research and Professor of Pediatrics and Molecular Medicine at the Hofstra North Shore – LIJ School of Medicine. He holds a B.A. from Queens College, City University of New York, a Ph.D in Chemistry from Syracuse University and an M.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University Medical School. He did his Pediatric residency training at the Children’s Hospital, Boston, MA and his Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital and the Sidney Farber Cancer Institute (now DFCI) in Boston.
