Jeff HeinJeff Hein was raised in northern Wisconsin where he currently resides with his wife Dawn and their lab/shepherds Daisy and Annie, aka: Mischief and The Tank. He joined the Army at eighteen and completed a twenty-year career as an Infantry First Sergent. During his service, he deployed to Korea and Germany, served two tours in Bosnia-Herzegovina, participated in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and served as a Brigade Intelligence Sergeant during the Global War on Terrorism. After the military, Jeff served as a county emergency management director, county veteran service officer, and adjunct professor of management and leadership.
