Jeff EmmersonJeff Emmerson is a Canadian mental health author, Honours Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work student at Laurentian University and emerging researcher. He is co-author of Beyond ADHD: Overcoming the Label and Thriving, originally published by Rowman & Littlefield in 2017 and now part of Bloomsbury Academic. His developing research interests centre on mental health services and systems, including access, integrated youth services and hospital-to-community transitions, alongside forensic mental health, including justice-system contact, rehabilitation and developmental pathways toward persistent antisocial behaviour and serious violence. He currently contributes as a volunteer Research Assistant with the Margaret and Wallace McCain Centre for Child, Youth and Family Mental Health at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto.
