Jeannette AllsoppJeannette Allsopp now
retired, was Senior Research Fellow in Lexicography, founder and First Director
of the Richard and Jeannette Allsopp Centre for Caribbean Lexicography at The
UWI, Cave Hill campus. She is also Consultant for Caribean English to Oxford
University Press, holder of the 1991 EURALEX Verbatim Award, and author of more
that 70 publications including the first and only Caribbean Multilingual
Dictionary of Flora, Fauna and Foods in English, French Creole and Spanish
(Arawak Publications 2003).
