Jay GearanJay Gearan began writing sports articles for newspapers in 1981. His work has appeared in The Gardner News, The Worcester Telegram & Gazette, The Boston Globe, and The Associated Press. A longtime member of the Golf Writers' Association of America, h has also contributed to Golf World Magazine and Southern New England Golfer magazine. After earning his BA at St. Anselm College and his MEd at Boston College, he enjoyed a long teaching career at Gardner High School in his hometown of Gardner, Massachusetts.
