Jay BarryJay Barry has been a high school history teacher for thirty-three years. He has primarily taught U.S. History over the past several years. Jay's work in the area of applied history began in 2017 and led to a full-year sabbatical from teaching during he 2022-2023 school year, thanks to a grant from the Stanton Foundation. During this sabbatical year and beyond he developed case studies, made numerous presentations on applied history to high school departments, ran several teacher workshops in applied history, and connected with a number of college and university professors.
