Jaspal Naveel Singh

Jaspal Naveel Singh is a Lecturer in Applied Linguistics and English Language at the Open University in the United Kingdom. His research focuses on the complex interconnections between culture and language, taking inspiration fromclassic western and eastern philosophy, southern theory, hip hop and Black diasporic traditions. Jaspal’s first monograph Transcultural Voices (2022) traces voice and narrative in the emerging hip hop community in Delhi, India. He has worked and lived in Hong Kong, Wales, India and Germany.
